この装置はコンテナー船、自動車運搬船等にも利用されるよう、設計された特殊な舷梯装置です。
舷梯は一番上のデッキに格納され、あらかじめ決められた好きな場所で使用できますので舷梯の長さを短くすることもでき、上のデッキでも下のデッキでも利用できます。また、上部踊り場はサイドポート内に180度で格納することもできるなどの利点があります。
This is a special ladder equipment which is so designed that it may be used in container ships and automobile carriers.
The ladder is stowed on the uppermost deck and can be used in any optionally predetermined place. You may utilize it from the upper deck or the lower deck.
Therefore, the length of the ladder can be minimized.
The upper platform can be turned 180 degrees to be stowed inside a side port.
